update 06-06-18

welcome back everyone, good to have you.
It has been 21 days sense the last pictures
where taken , so here is the photo update.
I will explain the progress and what i have
learned this season.

as you might have noticed the greenhouse has went
through a make over. I moved lots of things around
some things just got to big to be on the top shelf.
some things where in shadows
yet other things where not worth my limited
greenhouse space.
i had to remove the center
shelves to make room fom groth/light
drastic mesures where needed
i had to plant some peppers outside
of the protection of the green house

right on the ground in the dirt.

up front you can see the
2 colprits face to face.
i had to move them because they
just would not stop hitting the top.
(golden cyanne / broccoli )

Here you can see my best sip Tomato
(Back center)
My standard control bucket to the right
and far right front we will get into later on

ok here on the left you can see my
 sealed bottem buckets.
So i have had mixed results with this
methiod as you can see.
the buckets have changed places and the
close one has had 2 plants pulled
and a new plant put in its place.
The other plants where still alive but not
slow growing and not worth the space.
before i forget again
the 2 front center SIP buckets
are green bell pepper / jalapenio

left to right tabasco , thai , cherry bomb
Cherry Bomb is a new pepper i bought
Never heard of it but i understand it
can pack a pretty good punch

cherry bomb / gypsy / cyanne from seed

Jalapeno from seed / mystery pepper from seed

Purple bell pepper / couple of mystery peppers

More mystory peppers

My best SIP results
I'd say this tomato it about 34-36 inchs
from soil level and super heathy.

So this was a experement of mine.
I have very little expectations but , to
my surprise this worked really well.
It was a random throw together.
a new oil collection pan from dollar tree
and a old wicket waste basket.
the idea was SIP + root aeration/air pruning
i will have to try this again with a less primitive system

Now to suspect #1

Name : miss Broccoli Waltham 29
Crime : trespass
Location : very top of greenhouse
Punishment: relocation

Now to suspect #2

Name : Countess Von golden Cyanne
Crime : trespass / plantligomy
Location : very top of greenhouse
Punishment: relocation

Was cough with many peppers from unknown father planr

AS you can see there has been lots of
progress these last three weeks

The outcast plants from the greenhouse.
these lovly ladys have been moved into
a shallow water resavor as a exparement
if this works out corectly it will validate
the information i got from the wicker
basket tomato. wish me luck :)

My SIP pepper buckets seem to be
doing ok so far. we will see what happens.
I have already noticed that the buckets
with center pipes are doing far better
then the rest. These are the buckets with
2x 2 inch net cups
over 1 3 inch

Before you ask every other treatment is the same.
same light , same water , same bucket size , same soil.
(as if anyone has ever asked anything , lol)

So my pumpkin buckets where intended to grow pumpkins in ,
but i need space from my pepper seedlings
come to find out my tomato loves its home.
my pepper is kind of being a jerk
in front you can see my slower of my 2 potato bags

My better potato bag its fully unrolled in early june.
i got months of growth
the other bag is about half way

on to my berries
What can i say i failed
i didn't get a signal berry
loads of dead heads , deep green
foliage . no fuit

Thats a retty flower in the making
guess where it comes from ?
The onion that you forgit about in the
pantery . just cut out the center bulb.
and in now time you have this wonderful
flower.

ohhh and it make you a nice crop of onion seeds
for next year.

i had to remove the center
shelves to make room fom groth/light
drastic mesures where needed
i had to plant some peppers outside
of the protection of the green house
right on the ground in the dirt.
